The Barnes & Noble in Coronado Center is supporting Historic Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, July 30, 2022. If you like to buy books, make a purchase at the store or online and let them know you want a portion of your sale price donated to support our non-profit!
HFC is the featured non-profit organization that will be supported with a percentage of the sales on July 30. Several Board members will be on hand that day at the store, located at 6600 Menaul Blvd. NE. It’s located on the eastern side of Coronado Mall.
We’ll have information about the cemetery, the upcoming Cemetery Stories event on August 11, and vouchers to bring to the register to give credit from that days’ sales to support the cemetery. You can also print out this blog post and bring it to use this voucher. Or download a PDF with the voucher here.
We’ve recommended several books related to the cemetery that Barnes & Noble will have available to sell. They include:
Books by Cody Polston: author of Haunted Albuquerque and Ghosts of Old Town Albuquerque. Cody Polston is one of the featured speakers at Historic Fairview Cemetery on August 11 at the Cemetery Stories event being held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
A History Lover’s Guide to Albuquerque by Roger M. Zimmerman, The History Press
