Historic Fairview Cemetery:

Where Albuquerque’s Past Comes to Life

Historic Fairview Cemetery is the final resting place of approximately 12,000 members of the Albuquerque community—12,000 unique life stories that together tell the story of a city. Some are marked and well-known, others unmarked or long forgotten, but each individual played a role in shaping Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the nation.

Among those laid to rest here are many of the city’s early founders, notable business leaders, civic figures, and everyday citizens whose lives helped build the community we know today. To learn more, visit The Community of Historic Fairview Cemetery Facebook page, where you’ll find stories and biographies that bring these histories to life, as well as news about fundraising and exciting events!.
