Join us this summer for community cleanup days at Historic Fairview Cemetery! We’re calling on volunteers to help us care for this important historic site — the final resting place of pioneers, veterans, and generations of Albuquerque families.
🗓 Dates: First Saturday of the month except July: May 2, June 6, July 11, August 1, and September 5
🕘 Time: 8 am until ~ noon
📍 Location: Historic Fairview Cemetery. 700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM (enter through Fairview Memorial Park)
We’ll be picking up trash, clearing weeds, and helping to beautify the grounds. It’s a great way to give back, learn about local history, and connect with fellow community members.
Please bring:
Gloves
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
Water bottle
Garden tools, if you have them (rakes, clippers, etc.)
It’s a great way to meet people, get a little exercise, and enjoy some sunshine.
All ages welcome. Come for a while or stay the whole time — every bit helps! Let’s work together to honor those who came before us and ensure Historic Fairview Cemetery remains a place of dignity and remembrance. Please join us!
