🧹 Fall Community Cleanup Days at Historic Fairview Cemetery
🧤Help Us Preserve a Piece of Albuquerque’s History
We’re calling on our amazing volunteers to help us care for and spruce up this important historic site, which is the final resting place of pioneers, community leaders, veterans, and generations of Albuquerque families.
🗓 Dates: First Saturday of the month: October 3, and November 7, 2026
🕘 Time: 9 am until ~noon
📍 Location: Historic Fairview Cemetery (700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM)
We will be clearing weeds, picking up trash, and helping to beautify the grounds. It’s a great community effort and a way to give back, learn about local history and connect with fellow community members and stewards of the grounds!
Please bring:
Gloves, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), water bottle, garden tools if you have them (rakes, pruners, etc.)
We welcome all ages. Come for a while or stay the whole time – every bit helps!
As Fall is approaching, the air is crisp, and this is a great way to meet people, get a little exercise, and enjoy the outdoors and fabulous weather. Let’s work together to honor those who came before us and ensure Historic Fairview Cemetery remains a place of dignity and remembrance. Hope to see you there!
